Delete Virtual Item
In order to clear requests that have been in Returned status for too long, you can manually Delete Virtual Item. It is recommended that you keep a record of the item, lending library, and patron for any deleted virtual items for potential follow-up.
- Select Patron Check-Out and search for the Patron Barcode.
- On the INN-Reach tab, find the row for the returned item.
- Right-click the item. From the menu, choose Delete Virtual Item.
Note that this option is only available for items that have the status IR RETURNED.
- Click Yes to confirm that you want to Delete this virtual item.
- The transaction will be cleared from your patron account, but will remain available for the lending library to Check-in upon receipt.
