Placing Patron Initiated Requests in Prospector

Navigate to the Prospector catalog in your web browser (https://encore.coalliance.org), and complete a search for the title or ISBN of the requested material.

Click the Request it button for the selected title.

In the window that opens, select your library from the With which institution are you affiliated? drop-down menu. Note that all SWIFT library names are preceded by “Alliance” and then arranged alphabetically by library name.

Input your Name and Library Card Number in the Request Verification screen and click Submit:

If you are the patron of a library with multiple branches, you will also be required to select your branch from the Pick Up Location on the Patron Verification screen, before you click Submit:

If your request was successfully placed, you will receive the following confirmation:
